Formwork for the deck slab of the Parila viaduct is in place

In collaboration with TREV2, we have reached the next milestone in the Rail Baltica project, as we proceed with the construction of the Parila viaduct and bridge near Rapla. As joint bidders, we provide our client with confidence and peace of mind, allowing all parties to focus on planning and executing the work phases most critical to them.

The Parila viaduct, with a total length of 90 meters and pillars in height 11-12 meters, is a significant infrastructure project on the Rapla-Märjamaa road. For this project, we are using the Doka formwork system for the deck slab, familiar Tenter edge beam trusses, with Kaunas Metal as our primary reinforcement partner, and Betoonimeister supplying the concrete. During the course of this work, we will pour nearly 1,500 cubic meters of concrete and use approximately 3,000 square meters of formwork, with over 1,500 square meters being base formwork. Additionally, the construction of the bridge awaits us.

The construction work has progressed under challenging conditions, with our teams working through both rainstorms and heatwaves along a busy road. Currently, we are finalizing the installation of the deck slab formwork and beginning the reinforcement of the deck slab.

We wish our team and our partner TREV2 success and strength in completing this crucial phase.
