In November, the Äripäev newspaper and the website ehitusuudised.ee published a list of the leading Estonian construction companies. Maru Betoonitööd OÜ was ranked as high as seventh place, with sales revenue of EUR 16.5 million in 2018.
The year before that, the company had ranked as low as 53rd on the same chart, marking a remarkable rise of 46 places in just one year. The top three companies in this year’s rankings were KE Infra AS, Viimsi Keevitus AS and KMG Inseneriehituse AS.
The list is compiled using a variety of economic indicators to determine the best companies in the industry. For example, sales revenue and operating profit for the last reporting year, growth in sales and operating profit compared to the previous year, ROA or return on assets and return on sales for the previous reporting year are all taken into consideration.
