Recently, our site managers had a great opportunity to visit the Peri formwork factory located in Bavaria, Germany. The meetings with representatives from Peri Finland and Germany were fruitful, allowing us to exchange impressions and experiences. In addition to the factory, we visited several interesting construction sites.
Peri – A Global Expert in Formwork and Scaffolding
We visited Peri’s headquarters and main factory for ceiling and wall formwork and scaffolding in Weissenhorn, Bavaria, near the city of Ulm, where Peri’s main production complex and management center are located. This location has been Peri’s home since the company’s founding in 1969, and from there they have grown into one of the world’s leading formwork and scaffolding manufacturers, providing concrete formwork solutions in more than 70 countries.
Innovative Solutions and Future Prospects
We received a thorough overview of Peri’s formwork capabilities and saw what results can be achieved with different solutions, as demonstrated by Peri’s own office, service, and production buildings, and various construction sites in Munich. We specifically explored slab formwork solutions, which we plan to implement in our new project at the underground parking slabs of Laakso Hospital in Helsinki, and additionally reviewed possibilities for use in potential future projects.
We thank Peri Finland for the invitation and the German Peri hosts for their warm reception. Besides our professional activities, we had the opportunity to visit Munich, including its famous beer cellars and the BMW Museum, which added a nice cultural dimension to the trip.
Overall, the trip to Germany was very successful, offering many new insights and inspiration for our daily work. We hope that this cooperation will continue and develop in the future.
