The office building Lyra held a rafter party

The construction work of the office building in the Lyyraquarter, which is being built in the Kallio area in the centre of Helsinki, is in full swing, and a rafter party was also held recently. Maru Betoonitööd has completed its part, the office building has reached its height, and the main contractor Haahtela Yhtiöt is carrying out the facade and finishing works, as well as the framework of the adjacent hotel and residence. Our work took almost a year, we started with the construction of the basement structures of the underground floors and also erected the building’s frame, steel posts and beams, prefabricated concrete partition ceilings and external walls and monolithic concrete stairwells and elevator shafts. The installation of nearly 20 meters long steel truss-beam became a challenge in itself. It is a pleasure to be part of the design of Helsinki’s urban space, and we thank the client YlvaLyyra and the main contractor Haahtela for their trust and effective cooperation!
