In the grey transition between autumn and winter, it’s refreshing to reflect on our summer achievements. Together with Maru Ehitus, we carried out the framework construction for the first cargo terminal in the southern area of the Airport City business hub at Tallinn Airport. We built the concrete structures designed by Norte engineers for the new FedEx Express Estonia air cargo terminal. The future terminal’s net area will be 5,250 m², including 1,450 m² of modern office space and 3,800 m² of warehouse space.
The construction of industrial and logistics centers has been one of our core activities throughout our history, and we are pleased to continue supporting clients in realizing their business plans. By ordering construction services from the Maru Group, we can cover all phases of the project as an in-house turnkey solution.
Our scope of work included the construction of approximately 200 m³ of foundations, beams, and cast-in-situ load-bearing structures, as well as the installation of 440 concrete elements. Notable among them were the cantilevered ceiling panels around the building’s perimeter, giving it its distinctive architectural character.
