Before the New Year, we started concrete works on the Tatari 6a site, where we’re building a seven-storey commercial and residential building with an underground floor of nearly 5,600 square meters. Our work began with laying the slab for the basement, then the construction of the basement’s waterproof outer walls. The construction of the interior walls is also underway, while preparations are being made for the car ramp.
Construction in a dense city centre environment has its own challenges, and we ask our neighbours to be patient while the beautiful addition to the Tatari quarter, designed by Alver architects, is completed.
Since the building will be built in the Tatari quarter with very busy car and pedestrian traffic, the organization and logistics of the construction will be done between the commercial premises and apartment buildings that operate daily. Due to the narrow conditions, the only location for the installation of the tower crane is inside the elevator shaft.
We will need to pour more than 2000m3 of concrete, nearly 8000m2 of formwork and more than 200 tons of reinforcement.
We thank Mitt&Perlebach for their trust and are glad that our long cooperation will continue with the construction of the framework on this site. Good luck to the Maru Betoonitööd team in carrying out the work!
