Maru Betoonitööd 15 – Defined by People and Activities

Maru Betoonitööd celebrated its 15th anniversary with the team event at Köögikompanii. Collaborative cooking and dinner provided a direct parallel to our daily work: the success of complex projects depends on team synergy, precise timing, and the accountability of every individual.

While a company legally begins with a commercial registry entry, the true essence of Maru Betoonitööd lies in our people and the achievements we deliver daily. A company is not just a registry number; it is the sum of decisions made and projects executed. Our joint cooking event was a symbolic choice – much like a construction site, a kitchen requires discipline and cooperation to turn raw materials into a high-quality result.

15 Years of Responsibility in Building Landmarks During this time, our team has contributed to the completion of 481 construction projects, ranging from smaller industrial and warehouse floors to landmarks that define the urban landscape. Our work has taken us into mines a kilometer deep, onto the seabed, and to the roofs of towers tens of meters high.

Key Projects in Estonia:

  • Industry & Energy: Enefit280 shale-oil plant, Auvere power plant, NPM magnet factory in Narva, VKG shale oil plant, Siimanni biomethane plant.
  • Public Space & Culture: Estonian Academy of Arts (EKA), Internal Security Service (KAPO) headquarters, Tallinn Airport parking house, Roseni apartment and office, Metropol Hotel, Tartu University Hospital M-block (Children’s Hospital), North Estonia Medical Centre (PERH) Y-block, Viljandi County hospital
  • Infrastructure: Ülemiste passenger terminal, Rail Baltica viaducts, Hipodroomi and Rummu tee tunnels, Kanama viaduct and pedestrian tunnel structures, as well as Parila, Assaku, Pureva, Tõllapulga, and several other Rail Baltica bridges and viaducts.

Our geographical reach has expanded significantly, extending in Sweden from Kiruna in the north to Lund in the south. In Finland, we have operated mainly in Helsinki and Southern Finland, but also in Tornio, Jyväskylä, Tampere, Kouvola, and Salo:

  • Helsinki Olympic Stadium – reconstruction of sections A-F.
  • Länsimetro Soukka station – a massive underground concrete construction project in its entirety.
  • Clarion Hotel Helsinki, Lyyra, Erika, Woodcity 2 office buildings, and the underground floors and road tunnels of the Redi shopping center, Unity Stay Jätkasaari, Radisson RED, Clarion hotels in Helsinki

Our Strength is Our People  there are about 200 construction workers daily on our sites. This team possesses the knowledge and practical experience to undertake technologically complex solutions requiring high precision on both sides of the Gulf of Finland.

We thank all our employees and partners who have helped us grow into a trusted partner over the past 15 years. We continue with focus and engineering rigour!
