Maru Betoonitööd continues to build healthcare facilities!

We are continuing to build healthcare facilities, this time in Viljandi, Estonia. We are performing the concrete works i.e. cast in situ and element assembly for consortium of Rand & Tuulberg and Ehitustrust in the construction of the Viljandi County Hospital and Health Care centre called: Tervikum. We are constructing the slab on ground and cast-in-situ concrete basement for Wing A, the assembly work for three above-ground-floor elements, the auto ramp, and the cast-in-situ frame for three above-ground floors of Wing B, as well as the auto ramp of Wing C. Our work volume is approx. 4200 m3 of concrete, 15,000 m2 of formwork, and 400 tonnes of reinforcement.

Our work will last until September 2023.

On this site, we will also continue with a previously implemented practice where, in addition to the occupational safety instruction arising from the obligatory requirements, we will be providing our construction workers with additional occupational safety instructions when starting new construction stages and a weekly regular 15-minute occupational safety briefing.

Maru Betoonitööd has previous experience in the construction of several similar objects, we have built hospitals and health centres in Kirkonummi, Finland, the North Estonia Medical Centre, in Tallinn, and the Tartu University Hospital, in Tartu. We are pleased to be able to continue our cooperation with Ehitustrust as the contractor of demanding concrete constructions in the construction of another landmark.
