Last weekend we celebrated the Maru Betoonitööd Family Day at the Tallinn Botanic Garden. It is our longest-standing team tradition, dating back to the very first year of our company, and one that we continue to value to this day.
Over the years, our Family Day has taken us to many memorable places. We have visited the Polli Zoo, Nõmme Adventure Park, Suuresta Golf, Kõrvemaa Sports Centre, the Energy Discovery Centre, Tallinn Zoo, the Viking Village, Underground Bastion passages, the Estonian Maritime Museum, PROTO Invention Factory, Prangli Island, the Tallinn TV Tower, and this year, the Tallinn Botanic Garden.
During a guided tour, both children and adults explored the diversity of the plant kingdom. It was fascinating to discover how many stories are hidden within trees, plants, and greenhouses.
After the tour, we gathered at Café Herb, where we continued another cherished tradition by congratulating the children of our employees who are starting school this year and presenting them with a small gift to mark the beginning of this new chapter.
This tradition has grown alongside our company. The children who started school during our very first Family Day are now young adults, and more than one of them has found their way to Maru Betoonitööd construction sites in one role or another.
Our sincere thanks to the wonderful team at the Tallinn Botanic Garden for the warm welcome and inspiring guided tour, and to Café Herb for helping make it a memorable Family Day.
