Located on Vuorikatu Street, in the city centre of Helsinki, the distinguished hotel has reached its final height, the rafter party has been held, and we have handed the building over to the contracting entity. In cooperation with Jatke Oy, Maru Betoonitööd contributed to the construction of the two underground storeys of the building, including the much-needed shelter and connection to the traffic tunnel leading through the city centre of Helsinki. In addition, the 8 above ground storeys rose under our direction. In cooperation with our partner Bemapro OY, we carried out concrete pouring work with a class I foreman, using a pouring mast that could be lifted to the floors.
We are delighted that Maru Betoonitööd was able to contribute to the transformation of the city centre of Helsinki. It was a challenging job, as the concrete works had to be carried out on a very narrow plot of land alongside Kaisaniemi Park, on a narrow one-way street in the city centre, while also taking into account the adjacent Kaisaniemi primary school.
